BEL Engineering is proud to be a government backed, Cyber Essentials Plus manufacturer.
The Cyber Essentials Plus certification is critical for working within the defence industry to install confidence that all documentation and sensitive information is safe from potential cyber-attacks or breaches.
As part of the accreditation, employees at BEL Engineering are educated and alert to cyber-attacks, in order to give assurance that security measures are in place.
Jeremy MacIver, Head of IT Operations for the British Engines Group, said: “We place the upmost importance of the security of our IT infrastructure. We regularly test and review our controls to ensure that we have the most robust defence to a potential cyber-attack. Being a Cyber Essentials Plus manufacturer recognises this effort and is the industry leading accreditation”.
BEL Engineering has been audited to the highest level of security, in order to provide strong and secure cyber security practices.
David Sidebotham, Business Development Manager at BEL Engineering, said: “We have found this accreditation critical when engaging with customers who are interested in suppliers that can demonstrate these credentials, in order to meet their requirements and offer the manufacture of sensitive components”.
